Our Story

Built from experience, not theory

MacTrack didn’t start as a branding exercise. It started because there was a clear gap in the market for tracking that was easier to deploy, easier to support and better suited to the way Australian businesses actually operate.

How MacTrack got here

After more than two decades in GPS tracking, founder Grant Mackie saw too many businesses dealing with slow support, unnecessary setup friction and systems that looked fine on paper but were harder to use in real life. MacTrack was built to do it better.

From the start, the focus was simple: deliver tracking gear that’s configured properly, ready to go and backed by people who answer the phone. That approach still shapes how MacTrack works with customers today.

MacTrack now supports businesses across Australia and New Zealand, but the job is still the same. Help customers get the right solution, get it live quickly, and support it properly once it’s in the field.
